Where are the bathrooms?
The entrance is outside, to the left, directly from the sidewalk. I know this is of no use to you here on our website but it is by far the most frequently asked question we get!!!!!

Where is the store located?
Located in Stowe, Vermont; Stowe Mercantile is on Main Street (rt 100), in the Old Depot Building which is next to the Green Mountain Inn in the heart of Stowe Village.

Who owns Stowe Mercantile?
Marc Sherman started his first business in 1988 at age 27. During his first two years in business he started Stowe Mercantile. He has owned numerous other stores during the last 2 decades but currently Stowe Mercantile is his only retail store. Marc is also an award winning outdoor photographer.

How do you ship orders?
We use FedEx Ground Service for our shipping. Other FedEx services are available if you need your order quickly. We do use the Post Office for shipments to Military personel stationed here and abroad. Currently we do not ship outside of the United States to commercial or residential addresses.

When are you open & what your store hours?
Stowe Mercantile is open everyday of the year except, Christmas, Easter & Thanksgiving.
Our Hours are:

• 9:00 AM thru 6:00 PM everyday
• 9:00 AM thru 9:00 PM in the summer
• Certain holidays and busy weekends we extend our hours past 6:00 PM

What is your Returns Policy?
We will gladly except returns within 30 days of the original purchase date.  We'll refund your purchase amount in full with the store receipt, without a receipt we'll issue store credit.  We do not reimburse for shipping costs related to shipping items back to us. 

Does Stowe Mercantile support local non-profits, schools and the greater community?
We support a number of groups, fund-raisers and causes. We focus on Lamoille Community Food Share, our local food bank, as we believe everyone deserves to eat and that no one in Lamoille County should be hungry. We also support students and causes in three area schools, we contribute to The United Way and Lamoille Home Health & Hospice to name just a few other organizations.
